Unusually for a heavy tank, the AMX 67 Imbattable trades reliable armor for impressive mobility and a well-balanced autoloading gun. On the battlefield, it excels in a supporting role, assisting allies with concentrated fire when it matters most—with its experimental loading system ensuring it remains ready to strike at a moment's notice.
Toward the end of the 1960s, the French were using modern AMX-30 tanks capable of effective resistance against armored vehicles of a potential enemy. At the same time, they were developing vehicles with more impressive armor, among which was the AMX 67 Imbattable. The tank was notable for its powerful armament capable of striking targets a long range, as well as a high fire rate. The vehicle's key feature was placement of the gun in a low-profile turret with an overhead weapon station equipped with an autoloader. The project existed only in blueprints.

Cassette Loading System
The system automatically begins loading a new cassette when one shell remains in the current one, keeping you ready to engage. You can still fire the final shell during this process, but doing so adds several seconds to the remaining reload time.
